Quintas Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate to join our Technical Asset Management team for the management of a diverse portfolio of photovoltaic assets across multiple countries and clients.
This position offers the opportunity to develop hands-on experience in the technical and operational management of utility-scale solar PV plants. As part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring plant performance, managing incidents, supervising maintenance activities, and ensuring contractual and technical compliance. You will work closely with O&M; contractors and stakeholders, contributing to the optimisation and long-term success of PV assets. The role provides exposure to key systems, analytical tools, and performance-based reporting, within an international and multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the performance of all systems (SCADA, security, telecommunications, etc.).
- Manage incidents and actions, including updates in QE Connect and incident reports to the client, with special attention to failures and deficiencies that may cause production losses, including an assessment of the economic impact.
- Issue standard monthly and quarterly reports (format, content, and scope to be defined with the owner).
- Complete the reporting platform, QE Connect, with all site details, including components, contracts, technical design, location, automatic reminders for compliance dates and events, etc.
- Review Operation and Maintenance (O&M;) reports to evaluate the handling of incidents that may have affected plant performance. Hold regular meetings with operators to review performance.
- Monitor the O&M; contractor's compliance with all preventive maintenance activities at the plant,
including the submission of monthly reports.
- Supervise the O&M; contractor’s corrective maintenance measures and confirm that such actions have been carried out in accordance with the O&M; contract.
- Provide technical documentation to third parties (technical advisor to the financial entity, bidders in case of tenders, insurance brokers, auditors).
- Calculate contractual PR and/or availability values according to contractual procedures.
- Supervise the site visit reports prepared by the Operations Manager and follow up on the punch lists derived from such visits.

Requisitos
- University degree in Energy Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring energy assets, managing incidents, and coordinating with Operators.
- Knowledge of the PV solar market and its regulatory and operational environment.
- Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
- Fluent written and spoken English (business level).
- Organised, responsible, and eager to contribute to a collaborative and international work environment.
