About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive General Ledger Accountant to join our Valencia-based team. As part of a general home appliance manufacturing group, our Spanish entity focuses on local marketing, sales, and distribution. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate local financial records and ensuring compliance with Spanish regulations.

The ideal candidate brings experience from multinational or Asian companies, is adaptable to startup-like environments, and can work independently in a dynamic and fast-changing business.

Key Responsibilities

1.



Manage general ledger accounting and ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC)
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and generate financial reports
3. Maintain reconciliations for bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets
4. Coordinate local tax declarations (VAT, IRPF, Corporate Tax) with external consultants
5. Support internal and external audit procedures
6. Collaborate with local and integral teams to align financial operations

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in general ledger or full-cycle accounting
- ERP proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Navision)
- Strong knowledge of Spanish accounting and taxation regulations
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Experience working with Asian companies or cross-cultural teams is a strong plus
- Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-evolving environment
- Must hold valid Spanish permanent/long-term residency
