Responsibilities

- Quality assurance and testing of web applications following Agile methodology guidelines
- Reduce manual test execution time by creating and maintaining test scripts to verify scalability, security, functionality, and usability for successful code deployments




- Automate API (web services and RESTful) and backend database testing using existing tools or new tools
- Build, catalog, maintain, and execute sets of automated scripts to assist in regression testing of software builds
- Collaborate with the development team to facilitate rapid development according to accepted plans and requirements
- Implement and maintain automation framework
- Coordinate with QA team on testing activities for the given release
- Provide usability and functionality feedback to developers
- Participate in sprint planning meetings and daily standups
- Coordinate tasks with Engineering, Product and QA teams to deliver quality product releases
- Ensure software enhancements and system fixes meet defined requirements
- Bug logging and bug management

Required skills and experience

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent
- 0-1 year of professional or academic experience in a computer science field
- Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solutions
- 0-1 year experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA, TFS, etc.




- Professional or academic experience in JAVA or C# programming languages
- 0-1 year experience testing RESTful web services and APIs
- 0-1 year experience with GUI-driven testing as well as programmatic testing
- Experience in Selenium, Playwright automation frameworks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills

Desired skills and experience

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science or related) or equivalent work experience
- Strong analysis and autonomous problem solving skills
- Previous experience in an agile development environment
- Business process understanding
