Overview
Your main purpose. Support the Hotel General Manager in all operating decisions requiring analysis, including the development of business cases. Monitor hotel accruals and ensure accurate review of month-end closes prepared by the Accounting and Reporting teams. Discuss and communicate with the General Manager all relevant topics of the legal entity where he/she serves as a Board member, including but not limited to the Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow, and Compliance-related matters. Prepare, implement, and monitor budgeting and rolling forecasts primarily at the Hotel GOP level, raising initiatives for measurable productivity enhancement. Identify and anticipate trends to take mitigating actions when needed,
and ensure linkage between operational decisions and NPS impact. Implement SIG SOPs at the hotel level. Liaise between the in-resort Operations team and the Finance Centers of Excellence, including but not limited to FinOps, Accounting & Reporting, and other functions.

Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration, with a professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CPA).
- Proven experience as a Finance Analyst, Assistant Director of Finance or Chief Accountant for 1–2 years.
- Prior experience in hotels as well as good knowledge of USALI would be a plus; knowledge of taxation (VAT issues, Income tax and withholding taxes).
- Fluency in English (C1); Spanish language is a must.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint; very good knowledge of Accounting ERPs.
- Basic to intermediate competency in analytics tools such as Business Objects, Power BI, or similar.
