Intress needs to reinforce Trabajadores/as sociales to support the pool of substitutes that may arise in the SAVG (Servicio de atención a mujeres y sus hijas e hijos víctimas de violencia de Género) located in Madrid.
In this position, you will perform an initial assessment to evaluate the needs of the woman attended, advising, processing and/or managing access to resources and aid she may require.

Responsibilities
- Telephone attention following established procedures (filtering, crisis intervention, risk assessment, determine type of care in emergencies or urgent situations).
- Conduct the initial assessment to determine if the situation fits the service mission.
- Provide social, comprehensive and personalized attention to women, addressing demands and needs according to the individual problem.
- Emergency, urgent and crisis intervention; organization and management of records.
- Elaboration and monitoring of the individualized safety plan.
- Group intervention; development, monitoring and evaluation of the Individual Intervention Plan with other professionals.
- Participation in training, prevention and awareness activities related to gender violence and dissemination of the service.
- Preparation of reports for different organizations as needed.
- Coordination with SSG, the Network of Centers and specific resources to ensure maximum efficiency and benefit for users.
- Social assessment and intervention with women attended at the service both individually and in groups.
- Referral to mental health network and other specialized psychological care services as needed and/or for dependents.
- Participation in coordination meetings with other organizations and professionals.
- Record sessions with intervention indications for the team.
Qualifications
- Academic formation: Diploma or Degree in Social Work.
- Minimum 150 hours of training in care for victims of gender violence.
- Registered with the corresponding Professional Association.
Experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a social worker with women victims of gender violence.
- At least 1 year of experience in emergency victim care services.
Other requirements
- Driving license.
Knowledge
- Group intervention training.
- Skills and strategies to handle crisis situations.
Other aspects
- Experience in emergency services.
- Experience with the SAVG24 HOURS system.
- Creativity, initiative and empathy; teamwork; organizational ability; commitment to ongoing training and continuous updating; understanding and facilitation of interdisciplinary work model.
Administrative note
Certificate of negative sexual crimes conviction is required.
