Assistant Farm Operations Manager
The position of Assistant Farm Operations Manager requires an individual with strong leadership skills to oversee the daily activities of a large farm. This includes planning, coordination, and execution of all farming operations such as cultivation, maintenance, and harvesting.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Agriculture or Horticulture and at least 2 years of experience managing a farm. Knowledge of seed business and plant genetics is highly desired.
- Cultivation : Prepare greenhouse compartments for planting, sow and transplant crops, implement nutrition and irrigation plans, and manage climate control systems.
- Maintenance : Maintain equipment and greenhouses,
conduct crop protection and disease control measures, and coordinate with temporary and fixed employees.
This role involves working independently and collaboratively with other team members to achieve the farm's objectives. Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills are essential for success in this position.
