Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced
Instrumentation & Control Engineer
to join our
main office in Vitoria, Spain,
working on various Oil, Gas, and Energy projects, including the supply and installation of fired heaters, reformers, process skids, gas processing plants, and incineration packages.
This role will
report directly to the Engineering Director
and take responsibility for the full cycle of basic and detailed design, documentation, and project schedules for instrumentation and control engineering.
Location: Vitoria, Spain
Key Responsibilities: Prepare data sheets, specifications, and calculations for instruments and control equipment. Design DCS, ESD, SIS, and BMS systems according to Oil & Gas standards. Develop control and safety diagrams and specifications for control/security systems. Oversee instrumentation & control documentation, ensuring compliance with client and vendor requirements.
Collaborate with engineering disciplines and suppliers on project execution. Assist with technical inspections, installations, and start-up support. Provide procurement documentation and technical evaluation of vendor offers. Travel internationally as required for project oversight and client/vendor interactions.
Qualifications & Experience: Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably in Automation, Instrumentation & Control, or Electronics. Experience Minimum of
4 to 8 years of experience
as an Instrumentation & Control Engineer in industrial plant projects, especially in Oil & Gas. Technical Proficiency: Expertise in
DCS, SCADA
, industrial networks
(MODBUS, Profibus)
, and emergency shutdown systems (SIS, ESD). Proficient in design and documentation software
(AutoCAD
, Microsoft Office).
Experience in control system design and control cabinet design. Skills Strong communication skills and
fluency in professional English. Willingness to travel internationally as required.
