The talent management specialist will support the design and implementation of talent management programs that drive company values, increase employee engagement, and accelerate performance to deliver business results. Talent programs include performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, career development, career pathing, the employee relations and other strategic projects. The talent management specialist will develop a healthy leadership pipeline for the organization (site or function), execute and measure effectiveness of talent programs; partner and collaborate with talent team and business leaders to develop, communicate and implement programs and processes.

Responsibilities



Leads the implementation of all talent, leadership and team planning processes, policies and procedures at the site or within the function which includes but is not limited to:

Develop and implement processes, programs and systems in support of talent management strategy ensuring superior customer experience, effectiveness, and efficiency and manage succession planning, leadership selection and assessment, leadership development planning and the site's annual organizational development readiness plan.

Educates senior leaders on individual development best practices and facilitates the overall implementation of career mapping of high potentials, emerging leaders and managers included as successors the site's succession plans.

Acts as the organization's (site/function) Talent Management consultant by guiding the planning and implementation of practices that nurture the development of a continuous improvement organizational climate.

Plans and develops site talent management surveys, post-survey analysis and action plans (i.e. external and internal surveys), and senior leadership team development (i.e., offsite development programming) that supports the site/functions focus mission, vision and focus areas.

Administers talent management programs and systems according to defined strategy and plan, including the creation and delivery of key deliverables, reports, communications, learning materials, and other support resources.

Serves as a key point of contact to the business for talent management programs and technology, addressing questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.

Is the main driver for all employee relations within the organization. Is an active participant in coaching leadership in managing employee relations files. Ensures that all pertinent information is confidentially documented (i.e complaint investigations, disciplinary mesures, PIP, terminations) and properly communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

The ideal candidate would:

Have bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field.

Have 4-5 years of experience in HR-related functions that includes management/leadership development and talent review.

Demonstrate experience of effective oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders

Demonstrate personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.

Have a passion for a talent mindset and driving performance

Has the ability to work in a dynamic fast paced environment in which businesses processes, manage multiple projects and tools, deadlines etc. are continually evolving

Be highly detail-oriented, analytic, energetic, strong problem solving and self-motivated individual

Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and managing activities to meet multiple competing deadlines.

Demonstrated proven coaching and influence skills.

Has advanced proficiency in Excel
