Position Summary



The Network Infrastructure Manager is responsible for maintaining all IT related infrastructure and networks across all our offices including oversight of all our network, security, and managed service partners. In addition, they will be working closely with the Vice President of Operations and the Chief Operating Officer to identify the organization's IT/MIS requirements to support our business strategy and assist with IT strategic planning, as well as to identify, select, and deploying new technology to support organizational goals and objectives. This individual is flexible and dynamic, with a desire to establish and enforce policies, hold vendors to account and a uphold a customer-oriented approach to delivering consistent, reliable service without compromising on the integrity of our IT infrastructure. The individual is highly motivated and looking for an opportunity for significant exposure, growth, and unique challenges in a rapidly evolving environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Network and Infrastructure

Assist with the planning, development, and management of all IT services, programs, and support across all sites including head office, sales, construction, and customer care locations.

Analyze current technical architecture, risk, and issues, and propose new solutions.

Ensure the day-to-day operation of the network, server and storage environments are meeting/exceeding reliability, availability and service requires per SLAs.

Assist in the development, administration, testing and upkeep of the CentreCourt Technology Disaster Recovery Plan

Establish standards, policies, procedures, and checklists to ensure network consistency and high standard of customer experience.

Ensure all systems are effectively monitored



Management of Third-Party MSP

Manage the relationship with our Third-Party Managed Service Providers (Help Desk Support & Cyber Security)

Work with Third Party service providers to implement new hardware, initiatives and hardware updates across the various offices and sites.

Manage and analyze IT support desk tickets and associated vendor support requirements.

Work with MSPs to resolve escalated issues



IT Operations

Develop a strategic plan and budget for the acquisition and implementation of relevant hardware and software.

Plan, organize, control, and evaluate IT/MIS operations.

Design, develop and implement systems, policies, and procedures.

Research, design, and implement the appropriate technologies to support and improve corporate communications, access to information, and end-user productivity.

Assist with capacity planning for network bandwidth, storage requirements, messaging and collaboration, and other applications.

Oversee project management for IT-related undertakings, including clear capture of business requirements, provision of functional deliverables, milestone planning, and project postmortems.

Ensure that applicable project management practices are followed throughout project lifecycles.

Ensure security of data, network access and back-up systems.

Stay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide clear benefits to the organization, business partners, and/or customers.

Identify problematic areas and implement solutions in time.

Work within specified budget and ensure cost-effectiveness across operations and various initiatives.

Identify opportunities to save costs and more effectively manage assets



Applications Management

Administrator and support various cloud applications including Jonas Accounting, Procore, Salesforce and many others for 100+ employees

Develop a detailed understanding of SLA requirements and security risks/features critical to our cloud applications

Maintain a good working relationship with all external vendors

Develop and provide training on the use of the various platforms

Ensure documentation is created and current for application applications

The Ideal Candidate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar and relevant field

Minimum 5 years? experience in IT Management or related experience

Excellent knowledge of technical management and information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.

Be available after hours when needed to assist with resolving unexpected operational issues

Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and installation.

Excellent organizational skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Capacity to prioritize and be flexible in adapting plans to changing circumstances.

Good communication skills (both oral and written).

Ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences.

Highly effective project management skills with a strong business acumen.

Leadership attributes and team player.

Experience working with an outsourcer/managed service provider
