As a representative in our growing sales department, you will be responsible for winning over customers and meeting ambitious sales goals. You will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. You will also stay ahead of industry trends and leverage efficient sales tactics to broaden our customer base.

Key Areas of Focus

Prospecting for new business

Selling Information Technology and office-related products, supplies and services

Measurement and Management

Performance will be measured on new leads & deals closed

Management of leads in a tracking system

Proper notes and activity recording

What you'll do...

Sell products and services from our inventory of over 350,000 Information Technology, office, and telephone items to small and medium businesses

Research and identify growth opportunities

Possess a strong skill set in the area of cold calling, door knocking and tele-prospecting for new business

Aggressively identify, track and close bid and renewal opportunities

Represent our company's products and services (specifically Cybersecurity, Microsoft Azure/M365 and Managed Services), starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs

Provide daily, weekly and monthly sales reporting while meeting sales objectives

Remain knowledgeable and up to date on all essential vendor programs, technologies and products as well as participate in the development and presentation of sales and customer training

Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner

Protect the organization's value by keeping all protected and proprietary information confidential

Identify and analyze clients? business needs, propose potential solutions, negotiate and close new business revenue

Establish and maintain strong and trusting relationships with Business owners, managers and/or IT decision makers through personal contact and superior customer service

We are looking for someone with...

1-3 years of sales experience

A great attitude, who rarely gets discourage

An understanding of Microsoft products and services

Good time management and organizational skills

Ability to Build Rapport with Clients and Customers

Ability to set goals & achieve goals

Excellent team player

The desire to be competitive and refuse to lose!

A valid driver's license, proof of car insurance and a dependable vehicle

Willing to travel within Edmonton and surrounding towns

This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check
