Hello, Canada! We are excited to open up the Commercial Insurance Account Executive position and are looking for the right person to join us as we continue to shake the planet! The Humi Sales team members are a total mix of Humigos. From jammers (i.e. play in a band), low-tier athletes, intellectuals, and others, but they all share one common aspect of their DNA:

they are relentless Humi advocates and sales strategists. We build relationships that are all about our customers success. We do that through understanding their business, their goals, and by focusing our engagement on the customers unique challenges and opportunities.

As a member of the Humi Sales Team you will be working closely with the Sales Manager,

Chief Revenue Officer and VP, Business Insurance to qualify inbound prospects, explain the Humi product lines using our world-class sales methodology, and move the prospect towards a decision. At Humi we believe that a yes is great, but a no is cool also. Whats not cool is a maybe. Whats even less cool is selling someone something they dont need.

Youll learn how to take your sales knowledge to the next level in a fun-filled environment thats wrapped in a burning mission to be the best.

What will you be doing as a Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Working with leads from a variety of sources - Partnerships, Inbound and cross selling into the Humi Portfolio of clients

Work with the Sales Manager and existing Business Insurance team to come up with strategies to expand Humis Business Insurance footprint in Canada

Partner with the BDR team to hunt for new business and prospects

Working with the sales team to continuously develop your product and sales knowledge

What we are looking for in a Commercial Insurance Account Executive:

RIBO License required

2-5 years commercial insurance experience within a sales role, working directly with SMB to mid-sized companies and owning every stage of the sales funnel

-- knowledge with multiple business lines such as professional liability, commercial general liability and property

A motivated individual with a hunger for growth, success, and chasing results

Team oriented and has the ability to collaborate with different teams across Humi

A positive and resilient attitude to get through the hard days and constantly drive to improve personally and professionally

Opportunity to work fully remote across Canada if you choose to. We have an Office in downtown Toronto if you prefer an Office setting, but otherwise - we believe in hiring people who can set their own goals, manage their time effectively and deliver. We dont believe in hiring people who need to be micromanaged in an Office.

In the first week you will:

Onboard and integrate into the Humi sales and Business Insurance team

Become acquainted with your sales area, your sales goals, and the tools you will use to meet and succeed these goals Onboard you onto salesloft - hubspot

Training and learning the Humi product, and sales tactics Meet the AE team, begin to sit in on demos with them.

Understand our sales approach - we focus on empathy and connection.

Attend any P&C related demos/discussions with outside companies

Understand our product lines

In the first month you will:

Continuing to learn the Humi product suite, and offerings through weekly training

Start developing new ways of gaining interest in Humi and generating prospects

Be able to articulate the Humi P&C value proposition

Create a lead scoring system based on industry/estimated revenue not relevant in P&C.

In the first three months you will:

Have an intermediate knowledge of the Humi offerings and products

Put our current customer base through the lead scoring matrix and have a plan for getting the top 50% onto Humi in the next 12 months.

Monitor and measure the success of your initiatives against company goals

Working with the Sales Manager to plan future Business Insurance expansion endeavors

Working with the Sales Manager, you will either work with the outbound sales team to identify opportunities

Have created repeatable processes that can be followed by new hires

Work with P&C VP to create new products and automation to better support our prospects

After your first year:

You will be an expert in your role

Have advanced knowledge of all Humi products and offerings

You will be exceeding sales targets and be a leading sales professional

Helping the team think and implement innovative ways of growing market presence
