We have recently announced that Business Assurance, Inspection Services and Nettitude will be leaving the LR Group and will become a standalone business (LRQA) under the ownership of Goldman Sachs Asset Management. It's an exciting time to join our business as we have ambitious growth plans. We are currently looking for a Technical Consultant with Energy (including Renewable)

/ Petrochemical/ Chemical industry background to join our global team to support our growth. The position could be based in Europe or India , depending on the location of the successful candidate. No relocation package or assistance will be provided. The role will be focused on delivering consultancy services in the Energy (including renewable) / Petrochemical/ Chemical sector about the challenges and opportunities in one or a few of these aspects- Health, Safety and Environment/ Due diligence/ ESG and sustainability/ quality assurance in product and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform complex assessments, provide specialist advice/solution and training to internal/external clients, research or development work within agreed parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.

Leading or contributing to business development activities i.e. engagement with prospects, development of customized solutions, proposal writing and client presentations

Produce the deliverable within the agreed parameters (including timescales, budget constraints and contractual requirements) in an appropriate format and take responsibility to review and monitor other employee's work as requested.

Coach colleagues (developing them technically) and support peers as required and build relationships with the network of specialists to achieve effective knowledge transfer and application.

Undertake project management where applicable including monitoring project performance against budget and contract requirements.

Support the development of a profitable and sustainable sales growth at existent or new accounts, projects, and/or segments through own sales initiatives or together with colleagues.

Follow up leads received from technical delivery/customer service teams and work with clients and relevant internal stakeholders to define scope of works, prepare bids and see them through to execution.

Collect feedback from clients and work with internal teams to resolve client concerns; identify trends and make recommendations for implementing solutions.

Keep strong communication lines open with other sales colleagues, account managers and business development community across the wider LRQA Group.

Support and represent LRQA at industry events, local seminars and presentations as required.

Technical / Professional Qualifications / Requirements:

Shall possess a bachelor or master's degree in engineering.

Shall possess sufficient relevant previous working experience in a consultancy role (more than 5 years work experience with at least 2 years in a consultancy role).

In depth knowledge of design/ fabrication/ operation of process related equipment and activities in Energy(including renewable)/ Chemical/ Petrochemical industries (Health, Safety and Environment/ Due diligence/ ESG and sustainability/ quality assurance in product and supply chain).

Professional network - LinkedIn connection and reference Projects on consultancy jobs.

Essential to have knowledge of application of appropriate national/international standards and regulations covering the specific product specialism in above mentioned industries.

Superior Interpersonal skills including communication and reporting in English at all levels.

Experience of leading by example in delivering a high level of customer service individually and as part of a team.

Adaptable and well organized with a practical minded approach and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
