2021 has been a transformative year for the business in Spain and our growth continues to rocket! To support Booksy's continuing success in Spain, we are currently looking for:





Head of Operations - Spain



(Location: HQ in Madrid / flexible location within Spain)





Context on the role:





- Spain is a highly successful and rapidly expanding market for Booksy. We have built a strong team of over 50 (and growing) people across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Marketing and Support functions

- The vision for our operations model is to ensure that the Sales and Customer Success teams can focus on building an in-depth understanding of our customer needs and be product experts, combining these two elements to bring new customers to Booksy and delivering best-in-class product experience

- The Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in that vision by developing and operating the analytical, process and systems backbone that will underpin our business

- The Head of Operations will also act as an aide and close collaborator for the Country Manager in identifying and developing new growth opportunities, defining and implementing change initiatives, managing the day-to-day operations of the business and other ad hoc projects





Scope:



- This is a multi-faceted senior role with the primary objective being to ensure our customer facing teams (sales, customer success) can execute their roles efficiently and effectively

- You will work closely with the Country Manager and department heads to ensure smooth operations across all supporting processes (e.g. pipeline management, planning and budgeting, reporting, quality assurance, payment collection, recruitment)

- You will lead projects and engage with other teams to improve the operational effectiveness of sales, customer success and supporting processes, systems and tools

- Monitor operational metrics to anticipate and mitigate performance challenges for the business

- Serve as the expert for the local market teams on sales and customer success systems, processes and tools

- Support the Country Manager in various analytical and strategic tasks (e.g. identifying new growth opportunities, budgeting, designing and calculating sales commissions, measuring the commercial impact of new initiatives, conducting competitive assessment)

- You will need to act like an owner and not be afraid to get your hands dirty from time to time on projects to ensure effective execution. 





Requirements:



- Over 5 years of professional experience in process improvement, project management, analytical or consulting roles (ideally including experience in a fast-growth international business environment e.g. SaaS, marketplace or other technology business)

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- High level project management skills with demonstrated ability to execute multiple projects on multiple timelines involving multiple stakeholders and to measure their impact

- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business strategy into effective processes, systems and tools

- Proactive and pragmatic approach with a focus on getting things done

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across various functions

- Full professional fluency (level B2+) in English & Spanish (other languages beneficial)

- Can do attitude
