What you'll be doing:


This position is responsible for assisting the Category Lead on B+Categories in contributing towards business growth through the delivery of Category plans. The position will interface with the UK category team to execute the Lead market category strategies together with the local strategy for the Italian only categories and brands. The position will also ensure all work is carried out on time and in line with the print schedule.

Key responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities

- Responsible for running category analysis and support the Category Lead on inputting to Italy annual customization planning

- Responsible for reviewing and collating data on prior year plan (annual / quarterly / campaignly), from a category perspective and input into both briefing process and planning process for customization

- Responsible for executing the category plan created by the UK Category team

- Responsible for implementing pricing according to the strategic pricing direction

- Responsible for presenting the brief to the creative team on the customization (if not X-category)

- Responsible for checking PDFs at Final review to check there are no problems

- Responsible for customization impact on flow & pagination

- Responsible for ensuring that the global/UK content created for B+ is relevant for the Italian market and can be effectively used across all commercial vehicles.

- Accountable for reviewing the Trend report for B+ business and providing plans and solutions to maximize sales and minimise inventory

Build & Manage Marketing Plan for the Lingerie category and the local brand segment ( eg Cotonella / Calzitaly )

- Yearly / Quarterly financial plan creation for the owned category, and validation with category manager

- Product portfolio development (Quarterly): Portfolio architecture definition & pricing positioning accordingly to Italy market needs (based on internal and external benchmark).

- Resources validation (Brochure, Digital & Activation)

- Responsible for developing Quarterly pagination plan & collating key KPIs for each Brochure to get financial approval

- Accountable for producing creative briefs for customization and Lingeris/Local Brands

Analyze Campaign

- Demand tracking to secure correct service to representatives (avoiding shorts and excess generation).

- Responsible for preparing contingency plan business cases based on the Trend Report

- Post mortem analysis to understand campaign performance and include learnings into future plans

Matrix Relationships and Interfaces

- Responsible for integrating and aligning with matrix stakeholders such as Commercial Strategy, Campaign, Creative, Supply chain, Sourcing, Finance

We'd love you to have:

Work Experience

- Minimum experience of 3 years in the multinational environment in a marketing role.


- Grade ADE or similar

- Specialty or postgraduate in Marketing / Digital Marketing or similar will be valued positively. 

Skills & Competencies required

- Highly fluent in English.

- Experience in Beauty category management

- High level of coordination between marketing functions.

- Data analysis experience is essential with a passion for interrogating numbers to drive business performance

- High knowledge of marketing trends and competitor strategies.

- Strong organization ability and high attention to detail

- Candidates with experience in digital marketing will be positively valued.

- We are looking for a positive person, passionate about cosmetics, with the ability to work in a team and multitask

- Power Point, Word and Excel advance

- Fluent Italian and knowing the Italian market will be a plus.
