Change management is seen as an enabler to bring to life and is implied throughout all the way, when preparing, deploying and in BAU. The EDGE program is the foundation of our Route to Consumer (RtC) transformation and its principles ensure that we have a standard approach in how we go to market. It is formed of a highly interdependent set of processes (data foundations, Outlet execution KPIs, SIP), tools (Advance analytics, Reporting) and systems (Trax, EDGE 365, My Diageo) that will bring data, insights, analytics, technology, consistent ways of working, and a customer-first mind-set to the forefront of every interaction with our customers. It is designed to deliver a 360 customer view across the physical, virtual and verbal call. This will give everyone in Diageo (whether in Supply, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service) the same view of the customer, helping us to provide a better customer service and ensuring that we win at the point of purchase. About the role As part of setting the RtC execution vision, this role is the lead change manager on the EDGE program in the market and is the lead on evaluating and managing new business project requests. The role reports into the Head of Business Effectiveness. The role will work mainly within the market but will also have close connections and collaboration with Global Sales to ensure market alignment to Global strategy, vision and best practice and DBS. Key stakeholders within the market: Channel & Sales directors, Sales managers and Activation Managers in each channel. Above market main connections will be with Global Sales Europe EDGE Lead and the functional owners of key systems/tools. Although no direct P&L; responsibility the role is there to influence growth opportunities across the full market P&L; which could be ranging from improving the effectiveness of the RtC to deliver NSV upside via better outlet execution to improve the efficiency of the RtC to allow for re-investment behind the best growth drivers. It also covers other business transformation projects that will impact the market P&L.; In this role, you 'll: Ensure the right KPIs and performance management to deliver our RtC minimum standards around sales efficiency and effectiveness. Provide support for the Sales Incentive Plan KPI definitions and tracking. Cover projects that are introduced to the market, ensure the right quality of the data behind our systems and manage the group of super users in market. Support the capability agenda to drive lasting transformation in the market. Overall responsibility for improving our RtC via 3rd parties, to ensure the overall service they deliver meets the needs of the market RtC and working with the suppliers to improve the service delivery. Day to day management of the 3rd party suppliers still remain with the relevant in market role that already looks after the day to day running of the 3rd party sales teams. The end outcome of this is to ensure the market has an advantaged route to consumer that is leading vs our competition. Is constantly improving and engrained in the way we improve the reach and quality of outlet execution in the market. About you A range of commercial experience including Field sales Desirable experience from field sales from more than one company Strong stakeholder management and communication skills and experience Experience of change and success management in theory and practice Experience of analyzing multiple data sources and ability to find commercial opportunities through complex data sets Experience of delivering project, from initial kick off to move it into business as usual and fully embedded. Strong organizational and project management skills ability to plan and deliver complex projects Strong analytical skills and the ability to find commercial opportunities through analyzing multiple and complex data sets Ability to link strategy and detailed analysis into compelling and detailed business cases Communication skills: the ability to build and deliver engaging and persuasive communications Ability to influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders will be a crucial skill to have as this role seek to influence senior leaders around key projects and recommendations Finding creative solutions, creative and flexible mind will allow to find the best solution for improving the delivery form these programs.
