The Global Customer Data and Analytics Manager is a key position within the area to drive the transformation of the company into a data driven, customer centric organization . As such this person will ensure there is an integrated customer view and define analytic solutions,

data acquisition rules and requirements and collaborate with other areas to agree on analytic requirements for customer and sales operations insight generation.

This position will also play a proactive role in proposing and implementing new/advanced analytical methods and technologies to integrate multiple data sources in the generation of more advanced business insights.

To achieve its goals this position will work very closely with the Data & Analytics teams within IT and Digital Office and key business areas such as Sales Effectiveness Area, the Global Market Insights Team, Global Marketing and Global Medical Affairs among others.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and implementation of customer data strategy aligned with Almirall’s Business needs, with the main goal of optimizing the execution of customer engagement initiatives/actions.

• Data owner of the customer domain. Make customer 360 view customer data a new strategic pillar of the organization and increasing the level of understanding, use, and control of data within the organization

• Analyse main countries and product portfolio data needs for creating a 360 customer view

• Create a data catalogue tracking all available data sources and map how they are currently being used

• Define the data requirements and data sources required to generate 360 customer by working in collaboration with global/ local cross-functional teams 

• Lead the collection and management of data sources and work in collaboration with HUBs/ local affiliates to meet their needs

• Standardize dashboards and KPIs that allow to consolidate the corporate, commercial excellence of HUBs and local teams and a rapid identification of market opportunities .

• Ensure the correct synchronization of customer data in all systems of the company 

• Lead Data Steward to maintain and integrated and curated data set, ensuring a 360 customer view

• Continuously assess need for BI solutions , driving standardization and adoption across the company. 


• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Sciences required. Graduate degree in a healthcare, business or economic field preferred (PhD, MBA, or MS). 


• Minimum of 8 years’ professional experience. Ideally most of it in the healthcare sector and specifically in the pharmaceutical industry and/or related strategic consulting services sufficient to have developed an understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

• Ability to understand business needs in cross-functional / cross-organizational environments to deliver analytical solutions with strong impact on business.

• Experience designing and delivering complex BI/Analytical projects, in terms of data architecture , with high quality and right timings.

• Critical mindset to proactively challenge existing solutions and contribute for improvement opportunities.

• Experience working with CRM tools (i.e. Veeva…), advanced analytics and reporting tools (i.e. PowerBI..). 

• Experience managing databases (i.e SQL).

• Experience identifying the key business questions to ask to the data, to help data scientist leverage on advanced analytics techniques (ML, AI, …) and, together, deliver meaningful business insights 

• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• People Management experience would be an advantage.

• Experience in dermatology and/or immunology preferred.

• Analytical skills; proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with data visualization tools e.g. PowerBI.

• Experience in vendor/agency contract negotiation.

• Capacity to work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
