As a key member of the Global SFE support team, this individual is the business lead for all commercial / field-based integrated systems and initiatives, including our global CRM platform (Veeva). This position will define, represent, and manage the business (system) requirements for Sales Operations. As the Primary Business Liaison with the Information Technology Department, responsibilities include business requirements gathering, project planning/project management and leadership, vendor management, implementation oversight, management of user acceptance testing (UAT), change management, and commercial systems governance.

Responsibility also requires awareness and evaluation of evolving technologies with potential commercial applications. Additionally, the position requires the ability to effectively interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, mainly the Regional Hubs and the IT department.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Business lead and project manager for all initiatives pertaining to commercial platforms, CRM, sales force analytics, marketing automation, etc. Includes implementation leadership for new commercial capabilities and continuous improvement of existing systems.

• Provides leadership and support to all Commercial Operations functions and other departments to ensure alignment of business processes, data, and efficient systems integration and functionality

• Partners with Information Technology (IT), ensuring business and technology strategies are integrated and meet business needs and timelines. Identify and partner with third-party providers for appropriate services

• Leads and supports commercial technology change management process. 

• Work with Global Excellence Training to ensure adequate training materials and delivery to all key commercial systems

• Ongoing technology satisfaction analyses (help desk utilization, issues ID and resolution, etc.)

• Constructs and manages project plans, project status reports, issues/issue resolution plan, and other insight reports

• Develops and maintains stringent quality control process and metrics that ensure accuracy of information disseminated from Commercial systems. 


• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or Information Systems, Mathematics, Management Science or Engineering.


• 5 years of relevant professional experience, with minimum of 2 years in the pharmaceutical industry

• Strong knowledge of and experience with pharmaceutical data sources and data integration. High proficiency with pharmaceutical industry commercial systems (e.g. Veeva, PowerBI, etc.)

• Working knowledge of pharmaceutical industry Master Data Management architecture, resources, and tools (e.g. data warehouse, customer/alignment/product masters, analytics engines, CRM systems, marketing applications, etc.)

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to successful outcomes; demonstrated Project Management skills.

• Strong collaboration, customer service, and client consulting service skills.

• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools

• Proactive, continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrated ability to identify, gain support for, and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
