About the role The new Revenue & Growth Planning Manager will be accountable for controlling and deploying the optimum commercial NSV buildup, both in Volume and Value. You 'll use the data bank of M&E; and understand the short and long term ROI of all discretionary customer investment, tasked with driving higher investment ROI and maximum NSV performance. You 'll also understand the impact of all NRM and GM levers across pack, channel, price and promotion and will use this to orchestrate the business approval of the one commercial plan that drives what we sell and execute. You 'll work closely with the consumer and customer marketing, commercial and finance teams and facilitate the R&O; process to ensure plans are constantly optimised delivering the needs of brands, customers and Diageo. The tracking of the Commercial Planning by building blocks and its forecast accuracy will sit within this role. In this role, you will: -Facilitate the development of one commercial plan to deliver the AOP inline with brand, category and commercial strategy. Partner with the consumer marketing, customer marketing and category strategy to ensure the optimum balance of commercial A&P; is allocated to short v long term growth drivers -Oversee the execution of the one end-to-end commercial plan -Measure and evaluate the current strategy and course correct as necessary -Contribute to the build up of a bank of growth driver and ROI driver understanding and constantly seek to improve return of total customer investment - Lead and coordinate the AOP process to ensure quality delivery in output and timings - Ensure Commercial Activation Plans are correctly transferred to Customer plans - Develop MS forecast based on Commercial Planning About you 5+ years of relevant planning, commercial & marketing experience Exceptional ability to build and maintain genuine relationships based on mutual trust & respect Successful management of senior stakeholders at all levels, resulting in strong and positive outcomes Holistic skill set across all marketing pillars as well as a track record of leading transformational business results Being able to excel when dealing with ambiguity, complexity and working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and matrixed environment Demonstrated brilliant execution to impeccably high standard Strong end to end commercial FMCG understanding, alongside high levels of numerical acumen and attention to detail Fluency in English Celebrating our inclusive and diverse culture is core to Diageo’s purpose of “celebrating life every day everywhere”.
