you are a servant leader to Roche Diagnostics external and internal customers. You will be responsible for driving customer and business value through planning, launching and executing initiatives in a complex, iterative environment. You will lead one or several change management, transformation programs, or a small portfolio of projects within Roche Information Solutions and hereby engage with cross-functional product development stakeholders. In your role you will support the shaping and enabling of the RIS Architecture & Software strategy and contribute to the overall Roche Diagnostics vision. You will provide effective leadership for your team(s) in a manner that is consistent with the Roche values and leadership commitments. You will seek to inspire and lead your teams to create transformative solutions ensuring that Information Solutions products are recognized as being the best in the Diagnostics industry and maintain our #1 ranking in the future. The role is fundamental to successfully embedding the Diagnostics strategy, our new operating model and culture for the entire division. You will be orchestrating, phasing and pacing the different major transformation activities across functions, teams and geographies, and will be connecting with business leaders around the transformation. You play a pivotal role to create a sustainable success of the transformation in the long term. Reporting to the Software Program Management Office (PMO) Lead in Roche Information Solutions, you will primarily partner with the rest of Engineering, Customer Areas, Data Services, Commercial, and Marketing & Services functions in RIS to deliver customer centric solutions. In this role and as a servant leader, you will: Lead (transformation) programs with high complexity and subsets of cross-functional projects / initiatives, focusing on the development and execution of the RIS transformation vision; examples for such programs are improvement programs, productivity programs, implementation of a reference architecture, implementation of agile frameworks or agile ways of working Support the staffing of programs and teams, lead (senior) team members, as well as external vendors / contractors in various roles (e.g. Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master) and support the teams in removing blockers and impediments Define and implement metrics / key performance indicators to measure progress and success; implement mitigations for under-performing metrics; identify, monitor, and mitigate key risks Monitor the deployment progress of agile ways of working, scaling and enablement Establish relationships with relevant partners and stakeholders and act as trusted advisor for agile transformation methodologies and adoption Support the culture of continuous improvement by identifying programs, projects, and initiatives and obtain customer or senior leadership support as needed for process improvement activities that provide the greatest value to our customers and business units Contribute to the development and implementation of the portfolio management process across the RIS A&S; organization Partner with TransformD, communications or change management leads to support communication on the transformation of structures and processes if needed Who you are: Master’s Degree and experience in related discipline (Computer Sciences, Engineering, etc.), MSIS, MIS, or MBA preferred Excellent understanding of agile frameworks, methodologies, and ways-of-working; certification desired (e.g. PMI-ACP, Scrum.Org, or SAFe) Organizational Change Management experience (e.g. Prosci®) +10 years experience leading programs, projects, teams in agile environments with tangible outcomes; experience in taking on agile roles such as Release Train Engineer (RTE), Product Owner, or Scrum Master Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative solutions to address customer needs or to realize market opportunities Good communicator, able to collaborate with stakeholders and customers to explain technology and with the proven ability to take insights from customers and translate them into technical deliverables Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure outcomes Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry Mindset [email protected] is the mindset and culture we as Diagnostics colleagues strive to adopt to help achieve our vision and realize our strategy. Locations: You can be based in either Santa Clara, Sant Cugat, Rotkreuz or Basel. At the Company's discretion, an exception to the location requirement could be made under extraordinary circumstances. As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
