Job CategoryFinance and Operations Job Details As part of Tableau's continued rapid expansion, we have a new opportunity for a high-energy, driven, top-talent from Sales Strategy, Sales Programs, or Sales Operations with a deep knowledge of effective tactics and strategies to join our newly formed WW Sales Program Team. The overall team charter is focus on: (1) driving global programs to increase: (a) Tableau stand alone ACV; and (b) Salesforce synergy results; and (2) creating a global Centre of Excellence (COE) for how Tableau creates and launches sales programs.
This EMEA based role is specifically focused on Salesforce synergy results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind with the ability to act as a trusted adviser and business partner to Sales leaders, while working cross functionally with Sales Strategy, Data Science, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Enablement. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with complex data sets, adept at prescribing and prioritising technology solutions to meet business problems, and is a comfortable presenting to VP+ stakeholders. This role combines the creative process of designing prescriptive programs and strategies, with the “business end” of operationalising these programs with field teams to ensure they are executed and produce results. Your impact… The successful candidate will be collaborating with Sales Leaders, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Data Science Teams, Sales Operations, and Sales Enablement to design and execute custom sales programs driving Salesforce synergy results. Initial priorities include: Be the subject matter expert and translator of the Salesforce go-to-market ecosystem and associated priorities for Salesforce’s Regional Sales Leaders to accelerate ACV productivity. Leverage Salesforce ecosystem to increase amount of Salesforce Synergy in the Tableau business Identify and translate Salesforce priorities into programs at regional level, e.g., EMEA Top Deal Lists, Top Accounts Lists, Regional Owner for Global Programs Plug Tableau into Salesforce Sales Program planning process partnering with EMEA Tableau "Stand Alone Business" Sales Program team as needed as needed Leverage global sales programs best practices, frameworks, and toolkits Provide feedback to and innovate with the global sales programs teams Who you are… We are looking for an experienced professional (12+ years relevant experience at Director level but we are also open to a Senior Manager) with a proven ability to design (or influence the design) of revenue-producing sales campaigns and/or programs, and go-to-market strategies a plus. Knowledge of effective enterprise sales strategies (seed, grow, advise), and the ability to design prescriptive programs and strategies as well as the ability to “operationalise” them. Experience and overachievement in a field facing go-to-market role would be highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Sales Strategy, Data Science, Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, and Enablement – cross-collaboration will be key in this role. Exceptional communication and public speaking skills; delivering executive level presentations. Operational rigor and a track record of cross stakeholder program management and execution. Ability to build a strong network internally across Tableau and Salesforce GTM stakeholders. Experience drawing actionable insights from data sets in their most common forms (Tableau, Excel, Salesforce.com, etc.). Experienced in managing a team (virtual, dotted line, or direct reports) would be a plus, although there is not direct line management responsibility in this role. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Ability to deliver results in a global, matrixed environment comprised of various internal stakeholders.
