Are you customer-focused? Are you passionate about medical devices and diagnostic instrumentation?

As a System Support Engineer 1, you process the corresponding information in the service management system. In such a way that it is clear to all involved, what the problem is, what measures have been taken, and what the current status is.

Your main responsibilities:

- Answer inquiries for technical assistance by telephone, chat and email and identifies customer problems, and troubleshoots instrument issues of basic to moderate complexity with limited assistance.

- Document customer interactions in a complete and accurate manner through the service management system.

- Closely follow up on ongoing service interactions with customers.

- Leverage additional tools to resolve issues such as merged reality and remote system access.

- Promote and ensure a culture of privacy and security related to PHI according to HIPAA and GDPR stipulations.

- Manage a high degree of customer satisfaction by instilling confidence in BD products and services.

- Working in a fixed 5-shift schedule is part of the task to guarantee a 24/7 service. You will of course receive extra benefits.

As our future colleague

You typically require a technical bachelor’s degree / MBO degree or a degree in another relevant field. In addition, you have proven experience at a technical Helpdesk or at a Service desk.

- You have affinity with mechatronics and machine control.

- You have (some) IT skills (plus!).

- You are proficient in English.

- You are analytical and have excellent problem solving skills (technical).

- You are stress resistant and quality conscious.

- You are customer focused and you have excellent communication skills.

- You are organized and structured!
