A Day in the Life



Strategic Accounts Director look at the business from the outside in. Everything starts with caring and understanding the security needs of our customers, the role and commonalities with our valuable partners and from there aligning WatchGuard business functions of sales, channel, marketing, products and services. The SA Director drives business results by aligning and coordinating that complete value chain to serve our customers





30/60/90 Plan



- 30 days plan is to onboard in the company and solution portfolio get to know the targeted accounts and partner ecosystem. Get introduced to key accounts/partners and start engaging in opportunities that might be in- flight.

Define specific plan to achieve business objectives, hat includes channel and marketing activities.

- 60 days: start executing strategic plan, pipeline generation and closing backlog funnel.

- 90 days: specific opportunities are being work through to meet/over achieve yearly goals





About the Position



Strategic Accounts Director is the ultimate responsible to achieve WatchGuard business objectives in the top customers, with special focus on Service Providers. Those objectives are not only related to top line financial objectives, but to ensure the overall customer happiness and working relationship with our partner ecosystem. Harnessing the overall power of WatchGuard (product portfolio, financial resources, marketing, sales, partners & alliances, etc) to improve how strategic accounts and service providers address their cybersecurity needs. In WatchGuard we value not only the business outcome, but how it is achieved. Position Responsibilities



Achievement of financial goals (orders and billing) and additional strategic goals like portfolio penetration, customer happiness, partner satisfaction





Skills and Qualifications



- Customer and channel interaction, great teammate, driven and self-motivated, finds the way to meet/overachieve goals.

- Understand Information Technologies (cybersecurity is a strong plus) and service providers business dynamics.

- Proficient in English communications and working in multinational companies.





Experience



- No less than 10 years of working experience with no less of 5 years of key accounts commercial responsibilities.

- Enterprise and/or service providers sales experience is a must.

- Experience working for multinational organizations.

- Background in cybersecurity is a plus.
