Reporting to the Senior Director Product, the Product Marketing Director for New Ventures is accountable for defining and delivering effective growth, commercial and GTM strategies in conjunction with our strategic partners. Working directly with the Director of Product Management, this is a key role in optimising propositions & journeys and delivering successful GTM launches with our partners. Responsible for defining future strategic opportunities & providing quantitative analysis that supports commercial prioritisation of partners, regions, requirements, and capabilities.

Build + lead outstanding go-to-markets fuelled with storytelling, customer proof points + smart growth plans;

Perform commercial management that drives customers + Sage get the maximum value + return from investments


Responsabilidades principales

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

Owns the commercials, channel mix, unit economics and pricing strategy for cloud native new ventures to deliver recurring revenue growth and customer growth/retention goals.

Defines the customer value proposition, proposition roadmap and messaging framework for strategic partners, outlines the GTM approach to deliver customer adoption and customer engagement goals.

Establishes strong interlock with priority geographies to assess partnership & commercial opportunities.

Defines the customer journey for partnership new ventures and owns the interlock with Customer Success and Experience functions.

Defines the global strategy for new venture acquisition and owns the interlock with the regions.

Establishes deep understanding of customer needs, the market, and competitors, and turns this into structured and well thought out requirements.

Partners with Product Management to distil key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.

Leads the creation of exciting, innovative product launch plans, fuelled with storytelling and customer references that ensure effective and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline.

Acts as a key contact for the marketing organization to provide content, customer insights and feedback as they create innovative marketing campaigns, SEO, web persona development and target marketing refinements to build pipelines for Sage & partners.

Global ambassador of Sage, contribute to exceptional Sage content and thought leadership, represent the segment at events

Skills, know-how and experience:

Strong knowledge of the IT industry and the business management needs and challenges faced by customers and competitors in small segment.

People leadership skills – able to instil trust, belief, confidence, and drive into a worldwide team, working in a matrix environment.

Experience in launching new technology products to disrupt markets through innovative ideas balanced with market research.

Experience/familiarity with the customer engagement lifecycle.

Thrives when working in a matrix environment, where colleagues need to be supported, driven, influenced to deliver even bigger results.

Proven creative thinker that independently generates and executes on innovative marketing ideas. Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content.

Strong communication and writing skills in English and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management, as well as to strategic partners. Proven speaker comfortable in large audiences.

Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.

Strong experience in operating at both a strategic and operational level – Established experience launching successful products in highly competitive technology markets.
