Job Description Details

HSN is looking for part-time Sales Associates for our Brandon Outlet Store, located at 225 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511. Successful Retail Associates should possess strong customer service skills, and be comfortable assisting guests with merchandise selection, check-out procedures, and returns. We are in search for individuals who have face-to-face customer service experience, as well as, experience with operating point-of-sale terminals and credit card authorization terminals. Qualified candidates should also have flexibility with their availability; including weekends.

A Day in the Life

- Ring up sales and returns using POS terminals,

handle credit card charges and cash transactions along with accompanying detail.

- Authorize certain levels of returns/voids.

- Cross train in product knowledge in all areas of the store.

- Assist with training new team members with technical knowledge and sales techniques in specific areas of the store.

- Greet, sell and assist customers on sales floor.

- Merchandise sales floor/assist with floor moves.

- Maintain designated work area for housekeeping and presentation purposes.

- Provide back up support as needed.

- Ticket, stock and merchandise sales floor to visual standards.

Must Haves

- High School Diploma or GED

- Work flexible hours as business need dictates

- Ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs.

- Select retail team members may be requested to obtain a forklift license

Candidates will be considered in totality of their skills and experience versus strict interpretation of “must haves”.

Nice to Haves

- Prior retail/cashier experience

- Experience dealing with the public in a service oriented role
