The successful candidate will be responsible for selling services to customers through outbound and inbound telephone sales activities.
The key focus will be onÂ theÂ outboundÂ salesÂ of on-demand services contractsÂ as well asÂ assessingÂ customersaÂ needs for maintenance and repair services for theirÂ in-house laboratory equipment.Â Consequently, this role carries a target quota. Interpretation of customer needs is vital and will lead to active creation of business opportunities into a credible sales funnel. Customer needs will be identified through active prospecting of the market whilst maintainingÂ existingÂ customerÂ relationships.Â
What will you be doing? Â
- RespondingÂ toÂ customer enquiries,Â emails, webÂ contactsÂ and orders as well as being involved in order fulfilment and post-sales related activitiesÂ
- PerformingÂ inbound andÂ outboundÂ telephone activitiesÂ andÂ managingÂ ourÂ customer databaseÂ
- Managing your own sales funnelÂ
- Providing pricing & availability, parts identification, order status and proof of delivery assistance to customersÂ
- As an integral member of the sales team,Â you will be workingÂ together with a number of internal departmentsÂ (such asÂ customerÂ care,Â engineers, POÂ bookingÂ centreÂ as well as field staff)Â focusing on acquiring new customersÂ and retainingÂ &Â growing the existingÂ customer databaseÂ
- InterpretingÂ customer needs and proactivelyÂ working to fulfil those needsÂ
- ActivelyÂ creatingÂ business opportunities and representingÂ the brandÂ through every customer interactionÂ
What are we looking for? Â
- A nativeÂ level ofÂ Dutch plus fluency in English (verbal & written)Â
- Demonstratable effective communication and negotiation skillsÂ
- The ideal candidate would have a Bacheloras/Masteras degreeÂ
- Previous account management experience would be an advantageÂ
- Excellent technical knowledgeÂ and strategic sales skillsÂ
- Ability to build rapportÂ and demonstrate credibilityÂ in order to build the customer relationshipÂ
- Strong organisation and time-management skillsÂ
- Ambition and willingness to work hard to improve, grow and build your sales knowledgeÂ
- A proactive approach and a strong team spiritÂ
- High level of motivation with a drive to meet and exceed targetsÂ
- Experience with laboratories and/or analytical instrumentation would be a plusÂ
What do we offer? Â
- Full-time contract (39 hours/week)Â
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am-6pmÂ
