Job Summary a Main Tasks :
- Supervision, management and planning, in cooperation with the Team Lead, of the administrative permitting process to facilitate the development of the project pipeline, with a close supervision of possible scenarios, timelines and budget, anticipating any problems that might arise during the process.
- Coordination and management of land contracting, technology selection, wind project design and administrative permitting of the assigned projects, up to the start of the construction phase of the project pipeline.
- Monitor and track progress of the project development and permitting phase, to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and with the expected quality levels, within scope and within budget.
- Coordination of input required from RWERas Integrated Project Team and third parties/vendors for the flawless development and permitting of projects.
- Assessment of potential risks and technical challenges and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
- Coordination of the project handover to the Construction Department.
- Participation in the submission of proposals to public energy tenders.
- Input provided for the strategic business plan of the Onshore Wind Europe/Iberia unit.
- Identification and assessment of new growth opportunities and participation in the creation of the business case and possible partnership/transaction agreements.
- Supervision and coordination of the legal, technical and financial due diligence process of acquisitions under analysis.
- Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
- Represent the company in front of stakeholders and lobby groups as required.
- Promotion of a healthy and safe working environment.
Education and work experience:
- Bacheloras or Engineering Degree
- 5+ years in experience project management
- Previous experience in administrative permitting of renewable energy projects (PV, Wind) in Spain required
- Project Management certification strongly preferred
- Use of computer software tools: MS Office and MSProject, GIS and Autocad.
- Highly fluent in English (spoken and written).
