IT MANAGER
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Manager to be part of the opening of a luxury lifestyle resort in Southern Spain.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
The IT Manager ensures a smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure of the resort including all computer systems, software and communication devices.
As IT Manager you develop, implement and maintain an IT strategy which satisfies the technical requirements and the future development of IT systems, based on the needs of the resort and Accor standards. You are responsible for contract management and IT budgeting, CAPEX planning aligned with Accor LOI.
You identify potential risks and put solutions and recommendations in place including backup and emergency procedures. You understand and keep up to date with industry trends, market forces and changes in technology.
You work closely with all relevant departments and vendors to identify IT requirements and solutions and support IT training requirements through the resort. You support guests, colleagues and stakeholders alike with any IT relevant concerns.
The IT Manager reports to the Director of Finance with a dotted-line reporting to Regional Vice President IT.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- 5 years of experience in a comparable role in high end hospitality
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or another related sector
- Exceptional IT knowledge
- Spanish and English proficiency
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
- Strong analytical skills
- A passion for improving the delivery of services with a commitment to continuous improvement
