Job DescriptionDanfoss Power Solutions is looking for Supply Chain Manager responsible for the planning, purchasing, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering , order management, materials management, transportation logistics of the operation. Successful performance requires a broad-based knowledge of supply chain processes and systems and the ability to apply appropriate method, procedures, practices and policies so as to achieve an economical and efficient operation.
Effective leadership will include the ability to demonstrate total quality in the production, cost, delivery and safety. The position is based in San Sebastian, Spain.Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the planning, purchasing, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering,
receiving and shipping functionsProvides and facilitates communication/interaction among team members, between local and global teams and with customers.Effectively combine sound technical knowledge and competence with managerial skills to successfully meet agreed upon business objectives with efficient use of available resourcesEnsures compliance to corporate policies, and, when necessary, government regulations and procedures.Drive continuous improvement to constantly raise the bar on our capabilitiesAccurately assess skills of the team members against needs and address gapsBackground & SkillsExperienced Supply Chain Professional and LeaderBachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and 3-5 years’ supply chain leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, electronics manufacturing or automotive industry preferredSAP and global experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferredPrevious management or supervisory skills leading direct reports and working in a cross-functional environmentWorking knowledge of appropriate supply chain and manufacturing operations and practicesCompetent in Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval ProcessAbility to work in global team environment with proven leadership, interpersonal communication skills, strong facilitation and analytical skillsFluent in English language ( listening, writing and speaking )
