Your Tasks
You will be responsible for supporting the European strategic direction and development of our client’s Innovation Portfolio in the segment of telecommunications infrastructure, as it relates to electronics, cable/connectivity, mobility and user interface. Your mission is to develop and grow new strategic business applications and customer channels within the telecommunications market.
- Focus on new forward thinking 2 to 5 year business & market developments. Collaborate with application development,
technical services and R&D; to drive projects to commercialisation. Then work with business units and their sales teams on market introduction
- Support prospects in their project management, introduce chemical formulations & solutions to support new application development
- Define milestone plan in project management and secure the set timeline.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with OEMs & major suppliers of relevant industries
- Identify business trends vertically and horizontally to accelerate business growth, collaborate with strategic partner (e.g. institutes, universities, start-up clusters).
- Analyse market data from multiple sources to form deep market understanding and anticipate trends that can generate large opportunities
- Provide market data and intelligence to Regional Market Manager and the Global Director and provide regular updates on progress against goals.
- Maintain a data base of most relevant industry statistics in terms of production, sales, supply chain, customers & competitors.
- Monitor and maintain competitive surveillance information relevant to the target industry sector.
- Provide supporting information for development of the regional five-year plan to support the R&D; Innovation Portfolio. Your Profile:
- Relevant working experience and knowledge in passive and active Telecommunications Infrastructure hardware technologies
- Degree (Master/Diploma) Telecommunications, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or physics
- Proven track record in business development & project management
- Experience in market development, and customer centric selling tools.
- Ability to maintain effective internal communications in cross cultural environments to ensure that all relevant stakeholders are kept informed
- Fluent in English and German language Your Benefits:
