- Position Description and Responsibilities





As a Field Engineer you will be responsible for supporting and overseeing installations, test, modification and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repair on a range of Carestream equipments in accordance with Field Procedures. The main focus is on Digital Radiography (DR) modalities and DR installations including responsibility for DR room installation projects and the preventative maintenance, but also in CR and Dry View Systems.

You will be considered being the technical expert and you will answer all technical questions regarding the operation and maintenance of the systems.

The role of Field Engineer requires ability to travel around 80% of the time.





KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



- Provide service support and guidance to customers on Carestream install base.

- Deliver precise and punctual reporting to Carestream.

- Provide Problem Management to ensure the thorough resolution of Customer issues. Follow logical troubleshooting steps in accordance with approved service procedures to problem resolution.

- Monitor and drive equipment performance, highlight any problems and develop action plan in conjunction with local and regional specialists.

- Work with Sales and Service Sales Specialists to keep up to date with new developments.

- Accurately maintain and monitor parts inventory in line with current directives.

- Ensure service call activities are maximized in conjunction with cost control (return visits, same day fix, call duration).

- Take responsibility for communicating effectively with the customer on service call progress.

- Undertake or identify projects that have a positive impact on the business.

- Provide customer telephone and remote support as well as on-site training on operating and maintenance tasks.





- Required Skills





- Bachelor Degree from Polytechnic University or equivalent education/previous experience.

- 3 years of working experience from a technical job.

- Previous practical experience within electrical and mechanical area.

- Previous practical work experience from large systems installations and maintenance is a benefit.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

- Basic Microsoft Windows platforms knowledge.

- Basic PC software knowledge.

- Previous customer care experience from a technical role is beneficial.

- Self-motivated, task-forced team player who is flexible to work in a changing environment.

- Self-driven, focused and a person who is persistent in achieving the goals set.

- Excellent skills in time planning and organizing work and projects.

- Highly professional and knowledgeable approach to solving customer problems.

- Excellent listening skills and strong ability to understand customers´ problems and translate them into solutions.

- Excellent customer focus and ability to communicate with all levels of customers and liaise effectively with support functions.

- Committed to providing a high level of technical support and ownership of problems to external and internal customers.

- Proven documentation skills and ability to produce precise reports as necessary.

- Excellent Spanish written and oral skills. Fluent English. An additional language is an advantage





Desired Skills





- Experience from hospital environment.

- Knowledge and understanding of digital X-ray equipment/DICOM.

- Residence in Eastern Andalusia (Granada, Málaga…)
