Communications Manager, ADP Celergo Streamline - Job Description



BASIC FUNCTION



The CSL Communications Manager is responsible for developing and managing internal, client communications for our ADP CSL business. Reporting to the Director of Business Excellence with a dotted line to the Director of Communications (International), the role will involve the creation and execution (from concept to delivery) of highly engaging client and internal communications. The role will involve supporting internal change initiatives to drive strong associate and client engagement, global and regional events, and supporting the leadership team in achieving their communication objectives.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES





Ensure global communications policies and standards are adhered to and ensure overall quality of business unit communications.



- Manage the end-to-end process and delivery of ad-hoc and scheduled client and internal communications.



- Generate plans and create content for internal associate engagement campaigns such as blogs, social media, videos, town halls, newsletters, new product releases, engagement surveys and other motivating and engaging articles.



- Project manage and execute on the delivery of client and internal campaigns and regular scheduled communications.



- Create content and manage the delivery of internal and client magazines, communications and newsletters.



- Conduct final content and grammar reviews/editing of key associate communications prior to delivery. Define translation requirements up front.



- Manage online collaboration and portal sites.



- Provide communications support and expertise for teams and Senior Leaders, including the management of Town Hall events and engaging leadership communications according to a defined Communications Plan.



- Manage the development and deployment of ad-hoc systems maintenance and emergency communications to update internal stakeholders as required.



- Work with internal teams and manage external vendors/contractors to deliver impactful communications projects and communications services.



- Contribute to wider, organization-wide communications campaigns and initiatives on behalf of the CSL business.

Dotted line to: Phillip Russell, Director, ESI Communications.



QUALIFICATIONS



Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Communications / English / Journalism or other related field or a combination of relevant work experience and knowledge.



EXPERIENCE/SKILLS



- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Communications in a corporate environment (internal and external)

- Fluent in English (oral and written)

- Exceptional written communication skills with an emphasis on strong copywriting and editing

- Ability to translate highly technical or legislative information into client friendly copy

- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite, including the use and development of templates and the use of PowerPoint, Excel and Visio and SharePoint applications.

- Highly creative and capable of creating exciting campaigns and word copy for internal and external corporate communications (Ad hoc campaigns and scheduled projects)

- Ability to maintain full confidentiality on sensitive topics

- Highly organized with proven ability to meet stringent deadlines

- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels

- Flexible approach to working as part of a global team

- Ability to work with minimum supervision and on own initiative

- Working knowledge of Oracle Eloqua and PoliteMail (Advantageous)

- Knowledge of HTML (advantageous).
