General Summary

- Be responsible for the end to end optimisation of your areas ’ processes.

- Be a key player in the integration of new services in Barcelona RIBS (perform gap analysis vs. core model, update core documentation, perform testing, train users...).

- Be the go-to person for your area ’ s processes and the key contact between business and IT.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

New services integration

- Perform gap analysis between current (locally executed) and future (centrally executed) process.

- Identify risks and work with business to define risk mitigation action plans.

- Facilitate problem-solving and brain-storming sessions with customers to develop solutions that represent a win/win for RIBS (Regional Innovation Business Services) and our customers.

- Manage testing of new solution.

Process improvement

- Re-engineer, optimise and strengthen the business processes.

- Identify best practices, improvements and develop solutions to critical business issues.

- Undertake productivity Initiatives and ensure the business operations are efficient in terms of using as few resources as needed.


- Create and maintain high quality documentation, to be used both to train Operations users and as a reference in their day to day work.


- Produce Management reporting and define productivity KPIs.

Support to the business

- Give support to the business with the processes implemented, as the main contact between business and its main stakeholders (IT & Finance teams, customers, etc.)

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- The ability to work well with others

- A good capacity to understand the business needs

- Ability to work under stress

- Ability to translate complex business issues into smaller and manageable pieces

- Positive can-do attitude consistently delivering above expectations

- Be willing to travel within Europe or further when requested

Knowledge and Background

- Bachelor ’ s degree

- Over 3 years of functional experience in related discipline

- Advanced user in Excel and SAP

- Knowledge of standard methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma is a plus

- Other languages are a plus

- Ability to create complex and large process documentation

- For this position, you will be expected to understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities and cultures.
