Grip / Camera Equipment Technician The Opportunity We’re seeking a Grip / Camera Equipment Technician experienced in setting up, operating and maintaining camera support equipment, including dollies, cranes, jibs, sliders, and tracking systems. The Role Set up, operate, and maintain camera support equipment, including dollies, cranes, jibs, sliders, and tracking systems. Assist in rigging and positioning camera support systems for dynamic shots. Work closely with the videography team, to achieve creative and technical objectives. Ensure the smooth execution of complex camera movements. Support virtual production workflows, including LED volume integration, tracking systems, and motion control rigs. Troubleshoot technical issues with camera support equipment. The Person Proven experience as a grip or camera support technician in film, commercial, or high-end video productions. Expertise in dolly & tracking systems, including precision setup for smooth camera movement. Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot gear-related challenges on set. Familiarity with virtual production technologies, including motion tracking and LED-based environments (desired, not essential). Knowledge of motion control rigs and advanced camera movement techniques (desired, not essential). Experience with remote heads and stabilized camera systems (desired, not essential). The Details Location: Barcelona, Spain. Duration: Ad-hoc temporary work; days & weeks here and there. Pay rate: 240 Euros per day
