Laboratory Technician (Nephrology and kidney transplantation) | [B-172]

We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician to join the Nephrology and kidney transplantation Research Group.

Education and qualifications:

Required:

- Laboratory technician FPII or degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or similar
- Certificate in handling animals for research purposes

Experience and knowledge:Required:

- Experience in animal experimentation (primarily handling mice)
- Responsible, organized and motivated
- A degree of independence and teamwork skills

Desired:

- Experience in similar position
- Experience in other molecular biology techniques (histology, cell culture, WB, immunofluorescence)
- Fluent in English (B2 or equivalent)

Main responsibilities and duties:





- Technical support in mouse experimental procedures.
- Technical support in other molecular biology techniques (histology, cell culture, WB, immunofluorescence…).
- Support in lab organization (manage orders, reagent preparation…).

Labour conditions:

- Full-time position: 40h/week
- Starting date: Immediate
- Length of the contract: 18 months including a trial period
- Gross annual salary: 18.589,05 euros (Remuneration will depend on experience and skills. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale).
- Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
