Description of the job
A vacancy for a Production Scheduler has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space Barajas (Madrid; ex Astrium SL). The successful applicant will join TOMSC1 department.
Tasks & accountabilities
The main tasks are:
Plan production in the short, medium term, taking into account production capabilities and feasibility of manufacturing and smooth production accordingly.
Continuously analyses the information related to the planning and execution of the production.
Produce realistic and achievable planning on a daily basis and achieve schedule adherence.
Provide recommendations to production managers to define short and medium term planning.
Follow the production execution plan (control of the ERP, conversion of planned orders into production order, )
Develop and track KPIs related to the execution of production, and define action plans as well as corresponding improvements.
Establish the schedule of the work sections, checking compliance and providing priorities.
Establish balanced load/capacity and analyze specific deviations proposing possible solutions.
Schedule activities whose execution affects the production process (preventive maintenances of tooling and machines, calibrations,").
