Description of the job



On this role you will be supporting the A400M MP manager for the optimization of the A400M scheduled maintenance program (Maintenance Review Board Report and Air-vehicle Maintenance Planning Document - MRBR and AMP). You will also supporting the development and evolution of the MRBR/AMP for the A400M mainly but also for the the rest of Airbus DS Transport Aircraft programs (Tankers, M&L;) as part of the Instruction for Continued Airworthiness (ICA) required by FAR/CS 25.1529 regulation.



You will also supervise subcontractors supporting the activities of the department.



Tasks & accountabilities



Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:



¤ Guarantying the establishment of a safe and economical maintenance program according to certification requirements, including its optimization,



¤ In-Service data collection and analysis, including the identification, specification and selection for the required IT (SW) tools,



¤ Delivering, validating and verifying maintenance program requirements for new designs,



¤ Contributing on Time and Quality to the Optimized Maintenance Program, as well as development and evolutions,



¤ Delivering, validating and verifying maintenance program requirements for new designs,



¤ Providing assistance and advice to customers on maintenance programs optimization,



¤ Supporting TASSE4 daily customer queries Front Desk within given target date and quality,



¤ Representing his/ her domain of expertise, presenting and justifying optimization dossiers and/or MSG-3 analyses leading to maintenance program tasks in front of operators Maintenance Working Group meetings under the control of Airworthiness Authorities (EASA, FAA, CQC, INTA, AESA),



¤ Providing maintenance engineering support expertise to other Services departments (Supportability/Maintainability, GSE, Technical Publications, CAMO), as well as to other Airbus DS directorates (design, certification"),



¤ Contributing to Services Engineering Documentation and Airworthiness Directives Scrutiny for MPD impact either performing the scrutiny or coordinating the activity with a subcontracted company.



This role will involve some travel for business less than four times a year and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.



You will have the following skills and experience:



¤ Educated to engineering degree level,



¤ Strong knowledge in aircraft maintenance is highly recommended,



¤ IT (SW) Tools related with "big data" management,



¤ Good presentation skills, both oral and written,



¤ Highly concerned by Customer service and service minded,



¤ Ability to cope with highly demanding environment,



¤ Good co-ordination and relational skills to deal with Customers, Suppliers and other Airbus Defence and Space departments,



¤ Tenacious, adaptable and flexible,



¤ Reliable Team player, with a good sense of reporting,



¤ Language Skills: negotiation level of English.
