Chief Marketing Officer
We are proud to present you with the opportunity to join the fastest growing marketplace within the tourism/leisure space. After 8 successful years since their creation, they have had an amazing trajectory and have been growing strongly over the past several years (over 60% YoY). They are now looking to expand further in Europe and the US and dominate their market within their niche (valued at over USD 20 Billion and expected to reach over USD 26 Billion in the next 4 years!). They are looking for a top-performing Chief Marketing Officer who will play a critical role in helping the business become the leader within their space.
As the Chief Marketing Officer,
you will take ownership of the marketing strategy and its execution, lead and scale the marketing department, and train and mentor a team of marketers so they gain in efficiency and autonomy.
Your mission:
1. Transition the business from a growing start-up to a main player on the international scene.
2. Develop the business worldwide to support the hyper growth of the start-up.
3. Structure and professionalize the current team.
4. Build and embrace a data-driven department.
5. Continuously increase traffic and leads to achieve growth objectives.
Marketing strategy:
1. Implementation of a global marketing strategy (performance + branding).
2. Setting up a content calendar and strategy for the team.
3. Launching new markets/new languages.
Media planning:
1. Implementation and deployment of a media plan (TV, Radio, Print, in more than 5 countries).
2. Management of events (trade shows + meetings).
3. Monitoring of PR actions for all domains.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Support, train, and supervise the marketing team (15 people). You are responsible for a multi-million marketing budget. Ensure reporting with the hierarchy.
Internal communication management.
Online acquisition:
Work in collaboration with the head of traffic to allow a sustainable and scalable acquisition strategy.
Branding:
Work in collaboration with the brand manager to help build a strong brand image.
What you'll need to be successful:
1. Proven successful experience in growing and scaling a marketing department.
2. A minimum of 3 years of proven successful experience in mentoring and leading marketing teams.
3. Experience in fast-paced B2C e-commerce, marketplace start-ups in fast growth.
4. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
5. Strong ability to balance hands-on execution and strategy.
6. A great problem solver, with a flexible, can-do attitude.
