Being an industry leader takes talent, a clear vision of the road ahead, a driving passion for excellence, but most of all, great people.Across the Spain we employ around 300 people with over 15 different nationalities and we're currently looking for a Fleet Operations and Acquisition Manager/Responsable de Adquisicion y Operativa de Flota, based at Madrid/Las Rozas.What is this role all aboutThe Fleet Operations Acquisition Manager will offer strategic oversight of all fleet activities related to the development and ongoing management of the fleet and defleet Portfolio. They will support the oversight of Portfolio cost/contribution analysis on both an actual and forecast basis, as well as the development of detailed strategic fleet acquisition recommendations based on analytics, including alternative scenarios.Key objective is to provide support on the development of fleet planning (BP, CE and monthend), from a cost and rotation plan standpoints for Spain.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesStrategic ObjectivesTo support in the coordination of fleet planning definition throughout the business reporting cycleTo assist in the transmission of Fleet Planning to all related stakeholders and to incorporate it into the business planTo check for planning integrity, based on quantitative analysisTo oversee cost and financial analysis and ensure integrity of data used to forecast holding cost and contribution at the model levelTo monitor plan execution against fleet planningOperating responsibilities:Portfolio planning development and oversight:To participate and provide analytics for the development of the strategic Portfolio plan (additions/deletions/operating fleet) including all sources of vehicles, in conjunction with related stakeholders, like Remarketing, Pricing and Fleet Planning.To carry out supporting analyses to forecast holding cost and contribution at the model level, includingForecasted Residual ValuesFleet Operating CostsOperational ConstraintsProgram Terms and ConditionsCapitalized CostsTrim/optionsTo ensure integrity of data used in scenariosTo support on the evaluate alternative fleet flexibility scenariosTo provide analytical support to strategic plan to incorporate net gain loss forecastTo support monitoring of execution against Portfolio Plan.To assess economic and P/L implications of fleet actionsStakeholder alignment of portfolio planning:To support the incorporation of the strategic plan into business planning processes and in its communication throughout the Organization.To support the assessment of scenarios, analyses, and recommendations for the Portfolio and the development of timely communications within the Organization.Requisitos:What do we need from youGraduated from a business school and/or engineering school/university. Education could also be economics, supply chain, MBA or advanced degree preferred.Fluent in EnglishLeast 45 years experience in analytics in project management, fleet management.Experience in finance or logistics wil be a plus.6 to 10 years experience from the automotive sector.Work standards: he should be able to set high goals, objectives and standards for self and others.Analytical skills: should be able to make thorough analysis of alternative solutions to a problem. At ease with numbers and financials he should be able to talk equally to finance, commercial, operation and legal key partners.Impact & Leadership : Should have a strong impact and leadership skills by using appropriate methods and style to get suppliers and team to accept his views, his plans or strategies. He should inspire, give favorable impressions and self confidence.Energy and tolerance for stress: display a high level of useful activity at work while showing stability in stressful situations or when under pressure or being opposedIntegrity : should apply strong ethical behaviors and respect social, company an organization norms and rules inside and outside the company.Planning & Organization: Establishes standards and takes action to monitor progress, involves effectively team and peers towards committed goals in agreed timeframe. Experience in project management will be a plus.IT Skills: Required advanced user level on Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Power Point, Word, Access.
